Every step of the way has been beyond my wildest dreams! Some time between graduating from High School in 1999 and May 2001, I wanted to know what Scientology was; so I walked into the Minneapolis, MN Org on Nicollet Ave and asked for their most "advanced, all encompassing book". I walked out 10 minutes later with a $45 copy of "Scientology 8-8008". Reading through SOP 8, I exteriorized just reading the list of items for Step 4 - Expanded GITA. Amazingly this experience didn't prompt me for additional action. It wasn't until 2003 that I looked Scientology up on wikipedia and found an external link to the FreeZone, and read a large amount of the ClearBird Material as well as Advanced Materials. I read about Lisa McPherson, the Pilot, and a number of other stories of the RPF and what happened with Ron going off lines starting in 1983. I met up with some FreeZoners in the greater Dallas Area, did an incredible 1D Ethics Course, and got a few things handled on a Life Repair program. Since then, I have purchased on ebay, nearly a complete set of materials: All basic books, (before and after 2007 release), all basic lectures, all congresses, most of the ACCs and ProCourse sets that have ever been released on tape, the Tech Vols (complete 1973 releases, and most of the 1991 release), the Admin Vols (OEC 1976, Managment Series 1991), the RnD vols (1-10 from 1985, and 8-15 from 1991, and a number of the old "pro course" booklets circa 1952), and all Academy materials (ranging from 1986-1991) consisting of Method 1 Co-Audit, Student Hat, Pro TRs, Pro Metering, and Levels 0-V; the Key to Life Materials, and the Life Orientation Course. I studied all Academy materials one time through (theory only) to see where things were going. Then, starting 18 months ago, I've gone back to the very beginning and I'm doing a full chronological study, reading every book and article and listening to every available lecture, and skimming those lectures in the RnD vols that are not available in audio format. I'm currently on ACC 1. I did start the basics extension courses with the June 2007 release of the basics, but realized that after going through the Basic Study Manual, ClearBird's Study Manual, the Student Hat, and The NEW Student Hat, I know how to study for application, and there is very little additional value for me in answering the questions. I am currently VERY interested in forming a co-audit with anyone that would like to get going with something! Read it, Drill it, Do it. I am also interested in getting trained, with particular emphasis on the practical drills & on flubless delivery.
